Stephen Root rules

Stephen Root is one of my favourite comedic character actors. He's a champ. This is arguably his most famous performance.


Fucken Milton from Office Space. This movie is one of the most underrated - or deserving of cult status or whatever - of all time. Milton is the most memorable character in the whole thing, and the one who ultimately wins out. Milton rules. If you haven't seen this movie GO AND SEE IT RIGHT NOW. Its awesome.

Bill Dauterive. Yeah yeah, another "I love King of the Hill" post, but seriously - some of the most clever shit that's ever happened on TV, let alone on FOX. More consistent than all of the "Big Players" in the TV Family-Animation game.

Bill is Hank's pathetic best friend, and the lonely bachelor of the group you famously see standing in the alley drinking beer. He's a military man, an Army Barber actually - and is known for his willingness to go along with anything. He's also Cajun. The episode where he joins a Hippie commune is just gold.

Elroy "Lucky" Kleinschmidt

Elroy "Lucky" Kleinschmidt is the redneck husband of Luanne Platter, in the incredible series King of the Hill. He is a badass.

Luanne is voiced by (RIP) Brittany Murphy, which is pretty great - but Lucky is voiced by Tom Fucking Petty. And not just a one-off... he's in a large portion of the series, as the like... 9th most important character! Everybody should watch this show, Mike Judge (the creator) is one of the smartest dudes in showbusiness.

Anyways, aside from being Tom Petty, and kicking ass in general, Lucky enjoys the "gentlemanly pursuits" of muddin', stickin', cat-fistin', stumping, and truck racing.

I watched an episode of King of the Hill yesterday, which involved the guest voice talents of Diedrich Bader, and "The Macho Man" Randy Savage - both of whom kick total ass. Please, get into this show.

Bobby Hill

Bobby Hill is the fucking man. Greatest cartoon "family member" of all time.


The guy has an 'unbeatable spirit' or something, he's such a champ. Especially the episode where he becomes a Cajun dandy. Funniest shit ever. That episode... Season 4's "A Beer Can Named Desire" (find it and watch it, seriously) also guest stars Meryl Streep. Meryl Streep owns.
