Ghostbusters II

Hey man, so Ghostbusters.... except, number 2.

Its the sequel, but as deserving if not more deserving of its own shrine on here. Check it out: New York City has been Ghost-free for 5 years, ever since the Ghostbusters originally did battle with Gozer. After being sued by the city for property damage, the Ghostbusters are all "squeaking by" in various fields of employment. Egon is a laboratory scientist, Ray works in an Occult bookstore, Venkman hosts "World of the Psychic" on public access television, Winston works kids parties as a "Ghostbuster Entertainer". Dana (Sigourney Weaver) works at the Museum, restoring old paintings, including one particularly creepy portrait of seventeenth century tyrant "Vigo the Carpathian".


Anyways, things aren't looking good, and New Yorkers are only getting ruder and angrier. Meanwhile, the Ghostbusters' interest in all things demonic is revitalized, when Dana's baby Oscar is whisked away in his stroller by a mysterious presence. This, combined with the discovery of an enourmous river of slime below the city - signals the return of dark forces to NYC.

Now, i'll let you watch the rest for yourself, but this movie is so underrated. It plays out as a "love letter to New York City" and encourages you to believe in working together with your fellow man, loving life, and that "good vibes can save the world".

Yep, they bring the Statue of Liberty to life, and walk it around the streets of NYC. Pow.

I don't know what this is, or anything - but it sounds great. Ghostblade... imagine the possibilities... You could destroy a ghost any time you wanted!

So majestic. Jesus, look at this thing. Its terrifying and beautiful at the same time.

I'd love to get into "the cultivation of rare plants" in my spare time, something about doing that would just be really peaceful and awesome. I realize this is the symbol from that (underrated) movie Adaptation, but still, fuck that - Best. Flower. Ever.

Look at it, man - I could imagine being "obsessed" with these.

Bridges part 2: A Bridge 2 Far

And to prevent inbreeding, maybe one of your villager sons will meet a neighbouring village's daughter and they will have a shitload more kids and they will spread out geographically and dilute the gene pool or something. Then they will dig deep into the soil and begin working with harder minerals to make stone buildings and metal weapons and many wars will be won and lost and many men will die probably then different areas in the world will be explored using ships and stuff. Then other stuff would happen, and different languages would form, and shit like science and medicine, and different cultures would influence and conquer one another and the world will be eventually be entirely consumed by the human race.

And at the end of it all, the only thing still standing will be the Bridges.
