"Gentleman"

The Gentleman is a timeless character throughout human history that I hope remains timeless. There is absolutely nothing unfashionable about being one of these. All of the "little details" and subtleties to the idea of a "gentleman" are works of just the most civillized genius.

Manners rule. Being neatly dressed rules. Courtesy Rules.

I hope at least a couple of people consider me one of these.

J.K Simmons

JK Simmons rules! He's "that guy" in like... every movie ever. I love guys like that! - Simmons is totally one of the kings of bit-part acting, always leaves you pretty impressed, and wondering "what's that guy's name?".

Spiderman, Burn After Reading, Party Down, Law & Order, the Yellow M&M from the commercials, Oz, I Love You Man, Thankyou For Smoking, Arrested Development... he's got such an amazing rapsheet!

Anyways - I await the day the guy picks up a "best supporting actor" gong at the Oscars, or something. It should happen someday.

PS: Everybody should watch "Party Down".

Dame Edna

Is Dame Edna Everage kind of awesome? - He/she is this great, clever, old Australian guy named "Barry Humphries" - but like, everybody knows that - but EVEN more people know Dame Edna (a good portion of the television audience since the 70's know who she is) - and its such an old routine, and... Barry Humphries eveb seems more comfortable performing as Dame Edna than he does as Barry Humphries..?

How bad-ass is that... getting so deep into character. Really bad-ass.
