The Grim Reaper

This another one of history's "genius" legends. What a fucking badass the Grim Reaper is, man. The ONE guy who never takes any shit from anyone.... No wonder people listen to metal music - they want to have this guy on their side.

The personification of death has been told and retold in many forms - He is often portrayed as a bearded and winged man, but has also been portrayed as a young boy in Greek folklore. In Polish folklore, Death is genderless. The most popularized persona of Death, originating from Celtic folklore - is a skeleton weilding a scythe.

Nice. Check this out:

This is the cover of an 1892 issue of "Le Petit Journal". Imagine picking up your copy of the newspaper, and seeing THAT on the cover. Fuck.

Fuck - a movie about a Young boy who becomes the grim reaper would be cool as shit. Shotgun copyright on that script!

Total Badasses: Mariusz Pudzianowski

Being a "strong man" is a really cool thing to be, especially if you are "strong" as your profession, like Mariusz here is. Mariusz (also called "Dominator" and "Big Python"), a resident of Poland, has won the World's Strongest Man competition more times than any other individual, with five wins.

Apart from being strong, Mariusz also appears to have a "moral conscience", which is cool; he actually once spent some time in jail for beating up a local Polish mafia boss who he saw physically beating a young boy.

He has also competed in Polish Dancing With The Stars, which is a cool "contrast" to being strong.

The coolest Mariusz quote was from just before he was about to compete in his first ever MMA match; Mariusz, a trained boxer, was quoted as saying: "The left hand brings death, but the right one even I am afraid of." Totally badass.

Wojtek: The greatest animal ever!

Wojtek could be the greatest animal who ever lived, and certainly the greatest bear.

I know this is a big call to make, but wait until you hear his story; Wojtek was a Polish bear, much like the one in the picture. What makes him so different? Wojtek was drafted as a soldier in the Polish Army. Fuck yes!

He was adopted by the Polish army in 1942, and was actually listed among the soldiers of the 22nd Artillery Supply Company of the Polish II Corps. He helped move ammunition during pivotal battles in WWII!

Wikipedia lists some pretty amazing facts about Woytek. For example, he was often rewarded with beer, which was his favourite drink. Fuck yes. Also, the name "Wojtek" or "Wojciech" is derived from two words: "woj" (warrior); and "ciech", enjoyment. Thus the name has two meanings: "he who enjoys war" or "smiling warrior". FUCK YES!

But nothing could beat the title of his Wiki page: "Wojtek (soldier bear)"
